Harvest Noir is an audience participation party like no other, a mischevious, chic adventure that celebrates the start of the harvest season. The event starts with an elegant "dress your best in black" secret picnic in a public place in central Ottawa, rain or shine, and is followed with a fiery sparkler-lighting ceremony, and then a spectacular DJ dance party at one of Ottawa's finest cultural venues. Now in its fourth year, the media have called Harvest Noir "A SMASH SUCCESS" (Local Tourist Ottawa), "A DEFINING MOMENT IN THE CITY'S SOCIAL SCENE" and a "GAME-CHANGER" (Ottawa Citizen).

THE PICNIC. At noon on September 27 2014, those who've managed to get on the guest list will finally learn the HARVEST NOIR secret destination in Ottawa. Arriving by bicycle flashmob, by transit, and by car-pool, the elegantly-dressed dinner guests bring picnic baskets stuffed with delicious local food they've prepared and proceed to celebrate the harvest in grand style with friends old and new. Guests will enjoy the dining experience of the year, accompanied by bottles of wine, a fantastic orchestra, prizes and surprises, and quirky performers.
THE PARADE. Lighting the Ottawa skyline with 1500 fiery sparklers, and lead by a funky parade band, the guests will depart the picnic grounds and march in a fantastic Mad Hatter Parade, leaving surprised tourists and jealous passers-by in their wake.
THE PARTY. This year's DJ dance party will take place in one of the most contemporary cultural venues in the National Capital Region, and have more music/dancing choices for guests of all ages with fantastic DJs and a live swing orchestra.
